I love making bad art. I didn’t always. When I first started, whatever I made had to be good. It needed to look effortless. I needed people to look at it and be wowed, because I’d just started and yet I created this beautiful thing.

The 100 Day Project 2023 – Systems and Sharing
My theme for this year’s 100 Day Project is “Systems and Sharing”. I’ll have to get in creating work in there too but I really want to drive forward the systems and sharing concept to build my practice up in those areas.

Chasing Texture
Texture is a tricky thing. Sometimes you just want to give the illusion of texture, other times you want a textural masterpiece that makes the viewer want to run their hands over it (maybe not that close but you know what I mean!).
2022 – a little review of a chaotic year
2022 was a chaotic, frantic year where the world rushed to catch up on all the lost time due to Covid. It has been an absolutely full on year.
