As an artist, I believe that creating art takes us on a journey - some journeys are short and some are long and rambling. Each piece of art holds a story within it. As the viewer, we don’t always know the story so let me take you on a slice of the journey that each of these pieces have taken.

It all began with an idea, a nudge of “what if” - could I really use my art to explore all the emotions that motherhood and life entail and bring those to the canvas?

Creating often has its own agenda and there are many times when I just need to accept that I had to step back and let the canvas to be what it wanted to be. And I had to trust it to bring its own personality to the fore.
